Welcome to SCRAP
Based in Southern California, we are the largest localized group within the hobby of model warship combat. We battle 1/144th scale model warships from WWI and WWII with working BB cannons and bilge pumps. We actually do sink each other but our ships are designed to survive combat and return to the water in about an hour.
Recent News
2024-12-02 : December Battle Cancelled - Due to a construction at the Prado venue, the December 2024 battle will be cancelled. This is a complete replacement of the entrance of the park and includes work on parking lot 1 which is the lot we use next to the lake. As such, we'll be on a month-by-month check for 2025.
2024-11-02 : November Battle Cancelled - Due to a special event at the Prado venue, the November 2024 battle will be cancelled. See everyone in December!
2024-10-01 : The tenth anniversary Steve Thrall Memorial Battle will occur on October 5th starting at 10:00am.
2024-04-06 : May Battle Cancelled - During our April battle, it was discovered that several of our regular battlers will be unable to attend the scheduled May battle so the battle will be cancelled.
